Burned out - another one down
My friend text me a picture of this sorry sight this morning....
They smashed a field gate down, dumped the car and set it alight some time last night. It’s a D3 of some kind, judging by lack of side vent and the wheels - anyone in Barnsley missing one?
Edit: I did wonder if someone had developed a terminal (or expensive) problem and decided to stage a theft and burnout! Take the insurance payout rather than fix it.

More likely used in a crime - sad though considering somebody probably worked bloody hard to pay for it
Cannot see properly on phone but are all the seats up? Joyriders?.

Anyone want a cheap crankshaft? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Definitely looks to have a suspension fault, sits a bit low.

Yep, rear seats were up, but not sure I’d choose a Disco for a joyride!
Incidentally, I managed to set my wife’s Peugeot 307 a few years ago and there was very little left of it at the front. The Disco looks significantly more intact.

That’s my Dad’s - I’ve commandeered it for a few days! You wouldn’t want the wheels as most of the metal has been deposited on various kerbs around Yorkshire!

There was a video on Facebook yesterday about 2 BMW's that got stolen from the same street and it was either a D3or4 that the scum were using, can't seem to find the video now Cheers Ian
