To buy or to wait??
Just seen a 2011 D4 XS with 45k on the clock, full LR service history in excellent condition at a local dealer. I know the Cam belt is due anytime now (7yrs).
Is there any upgrades or modifications on later models that I would be better off waiting for to come within my budget?
Cheers.

You can wait for ever................so if it ticks nearly all your boxes and it drives ok on test then 'fill your boots'

Same age and miles as mine (well mine is 47k), still feels like a new car.

How long were you thinking of waiitng?
If a couple of years rather than momths I would wait for a Euro 6 version to come into your price range.

Thanks for your useful comments. What year did the 8 speed box come in and when did the Euro 6 engine appear? Also do any of the later models have a cheaper road tax?

MY12 onwards, so roughly 61 plate onwards. I think that's when they put DISCOVERY on the bonnet, not LAND ROVER.
