We have A LOT of Rangers on the road down here. They are actually the number 1 selling vehicle, beating the Toyota Corolla!
In fact, NZ has a whole lot of utes on the roads here. Where in the UK you seem to have a lot of vans, we have hardly any - they are all utes.
Which is great for people who actually need a vehicle like that for their work - what amuses me is the ones that get them as the sole family vehicle, and then have to try and park them! Doesn't always work well....
That said, they are great to drive, and have ample power. I'm sure you will love it, especially as you still have SWMBO's Disco to get the green blood still flowing!King of the typo.

Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!
Pickup wasn’t my first choice, another LR was, but sense took over quickly when I saw the cost of a D5 commercial. There was is way I wanted a van as it doubles as my daily commute and the Ranger seemed the best of what I’d tried, plus Fords current finance offers made it hard to refuse, that and the fact I needed to change to a commercial vehicle for the business just made it the right choice... at the moment LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Saw quite a few Orangutang Orange ones on the road today, it does look quite nice in that colour.

Very comfortable on the relatively short journeys do so very, but not as tactile - steering very light. Will give it a good drive tomoz and provide feedback LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
