caliper sticking????
hi guys this is connected to my other thread on pads and discs
so following bodsys mutts nutts brake guide pads and discs off all sorted on
inspection nearside looks like new great condition including shiny piston
offside outside pad had nothing on it bare metal inside pad well worn disc scraped to hell
the caliper very rusty doesnt seem to want to move
would this lack of movement wear the pads out?
solutins anyone ? caliper looks good would i get away with a piston? or is it salvagable?
will see if i can add a pic tomorrow

It's a common issue, just buy a new one as they're not expensive.

if one sides pads are ok
and the other worn out
then yes, the sticking caliper has caused the pad to wear out early.
replace caliper. pads etc.
it's not worth changing just the piston. As it will probably reoccour within months
