probably would need the extra airbags and ecu's to make the insurers happy too.
are there air bags in the middle/third row or are you talking about curtain bags in the pillars?

I believe so, IIRC the 5 seater came with 6 airbags and the 7 seater with 8. I believe that they are just extra curtain airbags.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

obviously we're going to be taking them out of a water damaged one prior to it being dismantled or have a word with those people called "overneave" or something, you know at peterborough
so anyone got pic or parts diagram for the extra rear bags?

DSL I've got me logical head on at moment...........if a change were to occur then it would be a pre may 06 registered car due to wanting to keep analogue tacho........SE/HSE would be great but the exact space where this has to go is right smack where the Factory sat nav screen is... so an S spec would be the choice, with leather if poss but 7 seater which would look more or less the same as what I've got.... money wise would be looking at around 16-18k for a good one with low miles....... that's a 8-10k uplift from what mines worth approx BUT knowing that the niggles I've had on my existing D3 would re-occur once more on top of that, so the 16-18 suddenly becomes 20-22k over the next 12 months....this new vehicle would be funded by a lease/purchase agreement for the business, thus less profit/share dividends for me....... mine has served me well so far with all obvious wear and tear items having only been changed in the past 6-7 months......worst case my D3 suffers an engine/gearbox failure then there are now a fair few of these turn key engines around for about 2k with the same mileage as buying a pre may 06 plated S spec.............so the big question, what would I get from changing up to lower mileage/more or less same spec D3 - not alot.
What would I get from holdin on for 12 months till the used market steadied..........A D4

oh the joys of a modern childhood, bus stop around the corner or can easily walk to mates houses (and then go walking the streets in a crowd) but still want taking/collecting
