Can you deactivate the oil level sensor warning?

Hi have a confirmed faulty engine oil level sensor in my 2012 disco 4.

It’s been throwing intermittent errors for a couple of years now - amber warning triangle and text on the dash, recently had checked by my great local landrover Indy (whilst he changed the right inlet manifold after the dreaded restricted performance issue when towing my caravan back 300 miles at about 40mph!) he’s confirmed it’s faulty rather than the external wiring, but said the job is significant around 6 hours +.

The car has never used any oil and doesn’t need topping up between services. I’m wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to deactivate the sensor via any of the diagnostic tools etc. the flashing dash is driving me crazy, it’s getting to the point I’ll spend the money to fix it just to stop that amber warning every 5 minutes…

Any advice welcome, or did you all replace the sensor? Seems like a common problem…

Thanks
