Can any of you guys from Notts/Derbys area weld?

Not sure if I've posted this in the right area, but as above.

It's not my D3, but my Defender!

I have an hole in my passenger side footwell (see pics below)

I have a replacement footwell (which can be cut up to suit).

I also have a MIG welder a mate has lent me, I just need an operator .

I also have a grinder, but lost the spanner thing

I have never welded before otherwise I'd do it myself, but MOT is looming ...admittedly, I do need to teach myself soon, just not quite yet.

I will pay beer tokens etc...I'm just off Junc 27 of the M1.

Oh, there MIGHT also be some work in the battery box area as well, but I'm trying to get a panel fabricated up as I'm on a tight budget.

(If it's done on a Saturday as well there will be a free supply of bacon cobs

)
