Can I install a removable tow bar & electrics myself?

Hi to everyone,

I have just purchased a removable tow bar & electrics.

Is there somewhere a manual or instructions to fit it myself, or I have to contact a dealer to install it for me?

Brother in law fitted one to his RRS a few weeks ago - took him 1/2 hour
His came with instructions?

You can search the LR info site for accessory fitting instructions to see what's involved. Can't paste link as on iPhone. Tow hook is piece of cake! Thumbs Up

I fitted mine last year in just over an hour, the only awkward bit is routing the cables along the rear cross member & up & into the light cluster.
Hope you didn't pay LR prices for the tow bar Big Cry
Easily DIY though Thumbs Up

Yep - agree with all above! You'll be surprised at how simple it turns out to be if you follow the instructions carefully and don't rush into it. Just watch when doing the electrics to keep the wiring secured clear of the swinging counterbalance weight. Best of luck!!

Took me the best part of day and then had tcall LR assist as it wa scheaper than buying a 10mm socket to attach the earth strap.

I had a lot pf trouble getting the rear light lenses off - needed advice form the forum!
