My friend had a Toe-Rag chipped, added about 40bhp/40Nm and iot was no slouch before that. He reckoned he improved fuel consumption about 10% and car was 'substantially' quicker mid-range. Similar gains to pretty much any car I would think, D3's included....

I had a touareg before my d3. without a doubt faster than the d3, but it didnt like working hard at all, constant bings and bongs. But i would have one again for sure. Filming something somewhere...
