| How can you turn off interior lights |
|
Anyone know how to cancel the interior lights when a door or tailgate is left open?
This would be particulary useful when I go camping and need to access the rear by leaving the tailgate open and then when I open a door the lights come on again and stay one for quite a while before turning off but by that time heaps of bugs have entered the car attracted by the many interior lights?
A D3 with the "bright pack" has lots of interior lights - 3 in the headlining, 4 for the doors and 2 in the front foot wells and these all stay on for a long time before turning off when a door is left open.
Any ideas would be welcome except for the obviuos to remove the bulbs

Press and hold the centre button in the front light binacle until you get the message on the message centre that the interior lights are off. To turn them on again, reverse the procedure. (Ignition needs to be on).
