Canceling Seatbelt Chim & Blutooth Phone

Hi all,

In the previous post, Ecosse mentioned a method to cancel the Seatbelt chime by inserting the clip in & out for nine times. I did his tips and was very happy it works but now I can't pair my phone with car through bluetooth anymore. My car phone was working nicely till I did the tips of canceling the seatbelt chime. is there any connection between the two? I switched/restart all things but still car phone is not working. Help please Big Cry

Can't believe there is a connection here. I've also done the seat belt chime - some time ago - as have many others. Never heard this symptom so probably unrelated.

As far as I know no relationship. Sounds like an unfortunate co-incidence that the BT decides to pack up then. Sad

Shocked Have used this on 2 Disco's with BT and not had this problem at all. Have you tried reversing the seatbelt chime "trick" to see if that reactivates BT?, and also re-pairing the phone. Assuming though that non-UK Disco's are the same as UK models!

Just to cofirm for everyone that there is no relation between the two. I found the problem to be related to my Galaxy Phone Note II Bluethooth was not acting properly. After switching the phone so many times, finally the problem resolved.

Thanks all!
