Hi Andrew,
So did your dealer know your D3 had been to JE? And was it upgraded at the time when it was in the garage? Just wondering if they cared or if they've taken away your old ECU for analysis and will find out it was chipped?

Don’t know if they know as its never been discussed with the dealer. Mind you if they are reading this post they will now. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Ah I see. Not saying it's what caused it or anything, was just wondering if they'd try to use it as an excuse not to cover the repairs under warranty or something like that. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
