Today I cancelled the order for my 07 Rimini Red HSE TDV6 with the Hybrid TV and locking rear diff. There is so much bad stuff going with the D3 as highlighted on this site I have found myself dreading the new D3 turning up so I have cancelled my order. 
I have had so many issues with my current car, but the straw that broke the camels back was:- today my automatic sun visor didn’t drop when the sun came out and I had to lower it manually. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Funny but having been monitoring this site for over a year, including some time before buying my D3, I have noticed a conciderable reduction in problems and issues. LR appear to be making major strides with the early problems. 8)
Take a gander at the X5 forum and see how many issues they have 
Any modern car with complicated electronics is going to have unforseen issues and they will take time to sort. I think the ASV option was deleted wasn't it? almost stopped me ordering my D3 when they did that, it's almost made it unsaleable second hand.... and theeeeennn......???

Check different forums about all kind of cars and eveywhere you will get the impression it is the worst car you can possibly buy.
It is a rule in marketing that a dissatisfied customer shouts 10x louder his version than a satisfied customer.
So you will read more horror stories than stories about a satisfied customer.
What is different with this forum is that the general feeling of the majority of us is that we love our car.
Even the early problems were forgiven by many disco3 owners because its such a great car.
If you want a car without technical problems, buy a car with a bodywork, some interior and an engine, nothing else. The changes that anything breaks down are minimal. Lada and Dacia are good cars, easy to repair and cheap spare parts
