Can't you change just a wheel bearing?

I have a rumble yet to be diagnosed as FNS wheel bearing due to lack of time but when I eventually get under it and confirm either way my question is unanswered even after searching it out.

Can you change just the bearing or does it HAVE to be the full hub assembly? It will be a Timken item but i am looking to generally keep costs down so why change the entire hub if you can just change the bearing!?

Hub only, not a difficult job, unlike the rear bearings which is major work compared.

The bearing race is part of the hub assembly, hence a whole hub required Thumbs Up

Fit the Timken hub I think its around £95, don't be tempted to fit a cheap hub or you'll be doing it again in a year or two!

I had to do a rear hub last year it wasn't to bad to be honest but you need a very good press!
