I can't get my Qtek to connect to Bluetooth handsfree, it does pair, but does not connect. Did anybody of you succeed?? what Radio Rom version are you using on the Qtek, I have version 1.15.00 which is the latest. (Settings/system/device information) TDV6 HSE Stornaway Grey, black interior

I Have an O2 Orbit which is an HTC (the same as Qtek).
It connected and worked the first day I got the car. And never since. Bonds fine, speaks not! So I either change the phone, change the car or .... go back to the earpiece. Oh well.....
LR unhelpful on this - it is your phone sir.... Bluetooth is not always bluetooth.
Unfortunatley my wife's Sonyericsson connects fine, so I'm afraid I have to go with LR's advice here!

Here in Nz I have an HTC Apache pda/phone. It connects with bluetooth on my D3 with varying ....usually poor, results. I think the BTooth version is 1.6 on that phone. I also have a Motorola which I believe has bluetooth with a version 2.0 or something....that is fine. Apparently you cannot get Bluetooth updated as in most normal software.... the Bluetooth you have is the Bluetooth you got. Near enough 40 degrees South!!!

Hi henkreyn,
According to Land Rovers latest list all th QTEK range are not recommended to connect to the system via Bluetooth.
The 8300, 9000, 9100 or the S200.
Most customers prefer the Nokia range especially the 6230/i as it can then be used with the cradle.
Pm me your email address and i'll send you the pdf doc of the all the phones tested and their compatibilty so you can check before you plump for a different phone.

Yes well I decided that the phone having everything integraded from SatNav upwards is so incredibly useful, and the Disco is so much fun that both have to stay. So.....back to the earpiece/sunvisor bluetooth box. Phone works with EVERY other bluetooth thing I have..... Maybe it is Land Rover.....
