As the title says I took the car in to have the tracking done today. I found one locally and as it turned out i knew the owner from my rallying days in the eighties.I was charged £80 but this was to include vat but I got away with that as I paid cash.I do think it has made a difference but maybe its just me trying to justify the £80 I have to say that I do not understand the print out apart from the top reading is how it was to start with and bottom is how it has been adjusted. Was it way out when it started as i forgot to ask ?

Was the D4 id "tight tolerance mode" or whatever it's called? I seem to remember that it should be, but can't recall what it actually means. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Looks like their scales are broken in the top pic.
I put it into tight T mode while i was waiting to be seen. I told him but he said it did not matter either way.The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Not much adjustment, I don’t think you’ll notice that on the road.Jaguar I-Pace HSE imminent.
Gone HSE with Flappy Paddles. IID BT tool. RLD Spare Protector, Altox GPS.
No probably not but its piece of mind as we are travelling down through Belgium France and Spain next week At least its now quieter with the change of tyres The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

it wasn't far out to be honest but at least they brought it into spec- its not a waste of money as if it was out it has saved you a set of tyres.
i do mine every 6 month but owning the equipment means it doesn't cost anything.
Thanks Chris 👍The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Personally I’ve noticed that even having any one out of the green will upset the handling/ tyre wear dramatically. I’d say you should notice a difference after that work.
On mine anything out on the rear and it’s very noticeable in the steering.
On a perfect road I loosen my grip on the steering and see if it holds straight and there is a Lidl car park near me as you enter there is a 90 Degree turn the Tyres only squeal on the smooth dry surface when the alignment is out
Well I am about to set off and do around 2500 miles tomorrow ( not all in one day ) on our camping holiday through Belgium France and Spain so i will let you chaps know The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
