Nice installation Thumbs Up

What interface have you used to get the VGA output into the GVIF lead on the Navi unit?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I choosed a mainboard with composite video out. But the video quality is very poor at 800 by 600 pixel. Unfortunately i can not switch my mainboards VGA card to 640 by 480 pixels when using composite video. But this is not an option anyway because my Car PC Software cPos requires 800 by 600 pixels.

Because i like to work on the PC sometimes i decide to install an additional 8" Touchscreen Monitor. Even if the image quality would be better, the Discoverys screen is really small. I will put some images online when i have finished the installation.

Yeah, it's the lack of VGA-VGIF that screws it for me. As mentioned in the other thread, the work and cost involved isn't worth it for the use I'll be putting it to.

Thanks for all the pointers etc guys Thumbs Up
