You need to have the electrics enabled by your dealer. Did you fit them yourself?

The indicators should work without dealer intervention - that's only to add the height change restriction functionality - have you checked the fuses behind the LH trim panel in the boot? (the one where the removable towbar is stored)

The fuses in the boot dont appear to protect the indicators unless I am being dumb (quite possible!).

when I first used the trailer electrics, one of my indicators did not work and I found that one of the fuses in the boot was missing Rolling Eyes replaced it and everything worked ok.

90% of my trailer/caravan electrical problems have been with connections car/van or trailer etc. Pins being pushed in, poor contact with non-clean surfaces.

I guess you've ruled these out ?

Put a metor on the D3 socket to see if anythings coming out !

If you have the removable towbar, it's very easy to knock the fuse block that is located in the towbar stowage area as you get the towbar out. Might be worth a quick check to ensure that all the fuses are still there and are fully pressed home. Firts time I removed the towbar, I dislodged a fuse but knew I had done so and pressed it back in.

The problem was traced to a faulty multiconnector by the main dealer. We had a great weekend away in our caravan and the d3 was fantastic!!.
Thanks to all who offered help.
