If you are using the FR rack, it is highly recommended that you use the FR rails. The Land Rover rails are a LOT more flexible (and taller) than the FR rails, and will allow a heavily laden FR rack to oscillate left & right, which will result in broken brackets, and possible damage to the roof glass.
The Land Rover rack mounts in a very different way to the roof rails, so that it almost becomes an integral unit, thereby eliminating much of the flexibility.
Putting the Front Runner rack on the LandRover rails is looking for "groot ka  k" in my opinion. My rack brackets broke at Eenhanna (look it up, its very far from home!) You don't want this to spoil your holiday. I just got lucky that I found someone in Eenhanna that could (almost) weld, and that the rack didn't break the roof glass, although it did cause a few chips, but luckily they are covered by te rubber seals under the FR rails that are now installed. Front Runner replaced the LR rails with theirs free of charge after this incident. How's that for service 
Just make sure that the FR rails are installed correctly, and that they are as far away from the glass as possible, and that the correct spacers are installed under the rails.

Funny you should mention it. I saw quite a few 18-year olds up there that looked a bit like heine, just slightly more tanned
