See him around now and again - drives an old golf GTI now - presume he can't afford to insure his Merc now hes lost his NCB.

Moral of the story - i don't hit the brake pedal unless i have to....

Agree with that but I found a great alternative. To remove an -hugging tailgater I like to activate the rear fog lights aka the "red dazzlers". Scares the crap out of 'em as it looks like I just slammed on my brakes and they back way off.......ether that or they're blinded. Either way, same result!

So true! But then it's illegal here to tailgate as well so hopefully they get them instead of me for flashing the rear fogs!
