CB Aerial mount
Can anyone point me at the thread, or supply a link referring to the design and position in which to fit a CB aerial off the front of a D3 (under the front lip of the bonnet I think it was...?) ?
Also have heard that someone (in Croydon (Vic)...?) may be making a good solid bracket for this purpose - anyone have contact details?
Was going to roof mount but have decided to keep it more simple and away from low obstructions....

Regards,Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Simple, pretty well out of harm's way and fairly clear of turret is a boot lip mount at the outer edge of the bonnet near the windscreen. I have 70cm/2m antenna one side and UHF CB the other. They can be leant in if you are pushing through scrub. No holes, no bracket!Cooper S/Ts, Dynamic 17x7s, Rotronics 3 way battery control, Boab drawers, Polaris camera, Mitch Bros tow, 4x4Intell wheel carrier and cargo barrier, Obie's rear wndow protector, Windcheetah roofrack, Featherlite rooftop tent, Faultmate, Trakmaster Nullabor 17. VK3PR VHF UHF.

Have a look in my gallery guys under Midland Multi, it shows RLD's bracket he makes over here, and on his return from holidays I am sure he will supply you one
