CCF File

I am hoping someone can help me. I have a 2009 Discovery 3 and the instrument clusters have failed. I have bought a second hand cluster, but now see that you need to upload the ccf files to the new instrument cluster! I have now idea how to do this. The complicating factor is that I live in Ireland but my car lives at my house in Switzerland. The local garage is not much help. They just tell me it is complicated and expensive. Any ideas gratefully received?

think you can do this on the IID as long as the mileage on the additional cluster is lower than the original mileage on the vehicle it is to be fitted to

Probably the lowest coat way would be to buy an IID and licence it to the car Vin transfer the instrument panel and then sell on the IID if you have no further use for it, as the resale value tends to be very good
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

As suggested above buy a IID tool, do a backup of the Ipack before you do anything, then install the new Ipack, Then select restore from Ipack in the menu and restore the ccf, when done sync the miles, if the new secondhand Ipack has the higher miles it will keep this mileage. Then do a vin learn and all should be done.

Second Ipack and a new BT IID tool is still a lot cheaper than a new Ipack.

Flack Thumbs Up
