CD Player not showing track names

Anyone know why, when using the CD player on 2012 HSE, the display does not show track names,as it does with an iPod? All I have is track numbers and nothing else. Mad

I think it depends on the CD, with mine 2011 it will show some but not others. All the old ones have no info, and only some of the new ones do, they are usually the non-compilation type cd's.

How goes it in Oz? Just had 2 people in the shop from NSW on holiday and going into Bath for the day!! great people...rice farmers!

Re the CD player, I've fixed it! Forgot I needed to download the cd onto the hard drive, so all up and running now!

Thought I'd fixed it, but all it's done is download the tracks and they are still listed as "Track 1" etc, no names.

I presume this is because the CD is a new release and not on Gracenote yet? Anyone know if the player auto updates the info when it becomes available? iTunes recognises it on the ipod.

Fixed!

Burn new album from iTunes onto a cd and import into car, all the info then shows up!! Very Happy Very Happy
