I've seen in the Wiki spec sheet that a base D3 has a central diff lock, but although I've owned one (and sold it) I can't remeber how it operates. Is it a function of TR and if so, does a coil-sprung model have a different way of locking it?

Fully auto ISTR, just does it's thing. How early dictated by the TR setting, if in rock crawl will cut in earliest.
No idea re coilers, PM MrH as he has one of those springy things.
