Changing air suspension sensor linkage length?

Does any any one know what happens if you lengthen or shorten the air suspension linkage, has any one done this before by maybe 15mm ? Would this lower the car by this amount and consequently return the cars to its former suppletness and state before enhancement ?

I realize they may have done some other changes to the suspension responsiveness but I think the firmness primarily comes from the air suspension pressure and height.

Since the enhancement my car has lost its supplteness over corrugated gravel roads, (from a luxury car to a normal average car with rock & roll and harshness transference) preferabaly I would like the suspension returned electronically to its former state but the dealer will not change it back (denies haveing changed it)
