2010 will be a EURO5. With DPF but no AdBlue.
Re lights, I leave them as is. I did 5k miles up to NW Norway last summer, lights on all the trip and not one flash.

It is interesting that I have never seen European car in the UK with headlight deflectors. Nor have I been offered them when coming back to the UK in French vehicle. An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore

Had an interesting time in Tunisia with our convoy of D3s, regularly getting flashed. But not me (halogens) and the LHD cars were also getting flashed. Only explanation is they had the 'ump with xenons.

Don’t think you will, over the water the headlights are of flat beam design, ours did flick up to the left on older vehicles, many UK vehicles now have a flat beam, the last of the FL2’s did as does the the Disco from MY14.
But happy to be corrected.

according to the manual.......headlamps have a pattern that eliminate the need to mechanically adjust the lamps or add any external stick on decals
adjustment via vehicle set up

Some peeps will say don't give the gendarmes an excuse to pull you over, but best way of stopping les gendarmes pulling you over is not speeding. They have no idea if you have or haven't switched your lights over, but they do have an idea if you've been belting along where you shouldn't be.
