Changing oil pump.

I have just completed changing the timing belt and oil pump.
Thanks to Disco Mikey's how to in the wiki and to Flack for answering a question I had regarding the locking tools. Flack also has a good description for changing the oil pump.

I ran into a problem in that my pump was very difficult to remove once unbolted. The seal had bonded tightly to the engine block. I used the two timing belt idlers as i was hoing to replace yhese anyway.
I used the idlers with two of the long lower oilpump bolts to make a makeshift slidehammer and used the timing belt cover bolt holes at the 3 and 9 o'clock postion as seen from the crankshaft to fasten the bolts and the just tapped the oil pump off. The seal released easily enough and from there on the job was easy.

I just whack it with a solid rubber hammer, this jolts it enough to shock it loose..
