I found a seller on ebay about a year ago selling just the ally trim think I paid about £40 for the pair. Only option was silver but you could probably get them powder coated. They come anodised so unsure if that's powder coatable?
Then the fun begins. Weather you unbolt them from the side of the car or unbolt them from the brackets they will inevitably be badly rusted and you will break some bolts Big Cry so be prepared to drill them out and re tap them. Once off the trim is riveted on so will need drilling out to remove and then riveting back on. The trims are not bent perfectly to shape so need clamping to the steps to pull them in nice and tight before riveting (use stainless rivets as they are stronger than the ally ones. Whilst off though you will have a good opportunity to give the steps a good coat of hammerite as they will be rusty under the plastic covers. Thumbs Up

Thankyou so much for your advice.
On another note , does anyone know if I can update my sat nav from 2011 model disco 4 ? As Landrover have told me this was all changed in 2014.
Seems a bit short sited on Landrover a part !
Not everyone can afford to buy a new landy every 4 years.
They said the last update for the sat nav would be 2013.
Seems a bit pointless.
Any wizz kid geniuses out there that can help ?
Cheers
Steve.
