Cheap & cheerful DAB solution

I've got one of the original Pure Highway units in my D3, feeding via FM mod into the audio system, but it's showing its age now and is on its last legs, I think (keeps rebooting). So I'm looking for a replacement... what cheap and cheerful DAB solutions do we all have in our D3s which we would recommend?! Don't want to replace the head unit (line input or FM modulator will be fine), don't want to spend a fortune. Any suggestions welcome!

(I've found DabOnWheels to be a good supplier of antennae and accessories in the past, and they offer this puppy - http://www.autodab.com/SmartDAB-FM.aspx - as a budget solution... anyone got any experience of this unit?)

Cheapest if you have a big data allowance on your phone would be to plug it in via the Aux socket or run a front aux socket via the connection under the nearside footwell cover behind the bonnet catch

I use one of these:

Similar idea to the one you found, but it uses the existing head unit display and the steering wheel controls so you don’t risk getting 6 points for using your phone while driving. I also like that there are no aftermarket boxes or screens to screw onto the dash, everything looks original.

Only real limitation is that to select presets you have to scroll through your list of stored stations in alphabetical order using the seek buttons on the steering wheel, but I’ve only got half a dozen stations I bother to store so that’s not really a problem to me.

+1 With more stations moving to DAB+ which I can't get in the D4, this is what I did. data usage is minimal plus you can easily flip to Spotify or podcasts

I use the Kinetic Digitizer from DAB on Wheels in my D4, the stick on antenna was pants, but after I fitted a sharkfin, no problems and well happy.
