Ok no worries I got it last year for the laptop. It might actually be 19 inch. Just makes things easier if you work from home.

a 17" XPS should do you well Flack
I have an L702x that i got for £500, very very good spec from Dell's outlet and getting an SSD upgrade soon possibly.
I just posted the laptop link up as for well under £100 you can get the laptop, powerpack and HDD and have a cheap light laptop you can take anywhere.
You can barely even get the screen for that price and for me its going to have a USB-Serial adapter fitted and then run my MSV2 FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

There is one without the second had for about £26 less but if it were me I'd take the primary drive out and stick a £70 ssd from Samsung in and install windows 7 pro/ultimate keeps one drive for a rainy day or bug a £20 external caddy and stick it in so you have a backup drive for holidays and stuff
The l702x I have is the older brother to this with pretty much the same spec bar lower gfx card and isn't light but is rock solid and I mainly play battlefield 3 on it and use it for running some virtual servers as I've upped it to 16gb ram(my work machine only has 10gb!) battery can even go to 5 hours at a stretch FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

Well mine arrived this morning and by golly its in better nick than i thought! Even came with a battery as well but i think its pretty dead so i'll try a reset on it and see if it helps but if not another battery is £15 if my spare one wont fit.
Power pack is £8
HDD cover is £3
I already have a HDD and tray so free but..
HDD would be £10
HDD tray would be £5
so for £42 + the laptop at £60 not bad me thinks
They are now doing one at £80 with a tested HDD and battery that holds some charge but hey whats it matter
XP install when i get home me thinks as im sure i have an image for one of these bad boys kicking about FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
