Maybe been posted here before but couldnt find it via the search function.
A good site I have come accross for those wishing to save a few quid when filling up.
You need to register to get specific site address's but well worth the effort when up to 8.4p p/l for diesel is saved within 4 miles of my work address

It has been mentioned several times in the past and it is still a good site.
This is probably a good time to issue a reminder about Pipeline Card, too. 280,000 members now apparently; no cost to sign up and potential savings if it works as promised:

Although, if you follow the link above, you'll see that Mr. Lewis also advocates filling up at night when it's colder, the theory being that you get more fuel at a lower temperature! Wow - that could be anything up to half a litre in a lifetime! I think I may just stay in by the fire and fill up tomorrow...
