which dealer offers the best rates and service levels for a 15k service in the south east please ????????????

Unfortunately I can't recommend a main dealer due to past bad experience's although medway landrover have been very good with all the warranty issues on the  .
As for the service i use roberts country vehicles who are landrover specialists and have all the equipment needed for any job.I used them for my old td5's and the service was excellent compered to the main dealers as they do a thorough job and take that bit extra care, so to keep as satisfied customer.
The bonus to not only having people working on the car who care, is that my 30000 service which is being carried out in 2 weeks time works out over £200 cheaper than the Stealers.
This is only my opinion and my bad experiences have left me bitter and twisted about main dealers.

Harwoods near Croydon are reasonable enough at fixing faults and provide a loan vehicle. There is a new LR garage in Battersea, but they may not be close enough to you, and I suspect their rates will reflect their location in SW London i.e. costly. Will let you know when I try them. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Very pleased with Guy Salmon Thames Ditton, who did the 15K service to my ~9 month old S diesel model for a shade over £300 including loaner (top spec HSE discovery 3) for the day.
They did all the enhancements without being asked, and generally were well clued up and helpful.
The car performs significantly better after the enhancements, as other have found.  Don't put it off, go for it!

I have found Caffyns in Lewes to be excellent. The 15k service was £292 which was £250 cheaper than the price quoted by Stratstone. Caffyns have also been very approachable over warranty work, included obtaining compensation for premature tyre wear following incorrect geometry at manufacture. Car collection or loan vehicle usually offered. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
