Bottle of Radiator Leak Repair
Canister of Tyre Weld for when your spare gets a flat too!
A hammer, must-have for... anything!

A magnetic 12V spot light for when it's dark and you gotta change a wheel!
Obviously should be in any car at all times!

Big thanks to all - some great tips here.

Not enough time to get the Peage gadget - pity as I hate queing!

Had checked tyre pressures - but forget the spare. It was well down. Only got one wheel nut adaptor - another been ordered. Also packed the spare keys

Sweets and biscuits bought.

Will buy 12v light and tyreweld today. Phone charger permanently in the car!

Only sat nav is LR's own and that doesn't have speed camera alerts. Should be OK. But clearly need to watch speed. Things change - Before kids, I used to do cross-europe supercar rallies to Monaco or Italy. We did silly speeds and never got caught...

Setting off today - looking forward to it!

Cheers all

Re locking wheel nuts, cancel the order for the locking key & repace your locking nuts with ordinary ones. Whilst the keys fail, so do the locking nut and no matter how many keys you have if the nut just spins you're stuffed. Any LR dealer hase em in stock. Thumbs Up

Ref hi-vis jackets, you need one per person in the car and they have to be in the car and reachable by everyone so cannot be stored in the boot.

have a good trip

Czech Republic
and for anybody going to or thru Czech

Czech police just received 30 brand new VW Passats V6 saloons and estates all unmarked and kitted up with technology, to be used not only on motorways but also all major routes.

I asked my work colleagues regarding radar detectors etc and apparently in Czech it's not illegal to own them Shocked just radar jammer's are illegal Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
