I'm not so sure about that.....

I thought that Sport mode only affects the gearbox mapping - not the engine mapping. Mine certainly has the same engine response in Sport/CommandShift modes but then reverts back to standard in any of the TR modes....

Sorry guys for the late response. You know one need to work here and there.
The problem with the axle shaft occur when I drove in the high mode (as 10forcash said correctly) and climbed rocks. The car was at Rock crawl mode or as one said "rock and roll mode".
The car was stuck at about 45 degree because the bally guard of the car stuck on a rock. The traction control obviously could not help and after 2-3 attampts to pass that point I did wrong by using "the digital gas" and the car responce with a nasty noise (ie axle shaft torsion).
The way down and back home was long. Instead of having midnight coffee with freinds at the forest I drove back with off terrain responce and shaking car. The rest is history.
I said that I used the low fuel mapping, because I noticed that what it does is openning the turbo erlier and I think it add some power. I went for a resonable short tour so I did not changed to the "extra power" maping, which, by the way, I did not try, yet.
