| Christmas break in the Alps |
|
How come Gatwick and Heathrow airports are at a standstill with thousands of people stranded trying to get flights out for their Christmas break. Hundeds of Uk roads closed and dotted with abandoned cars. Half mile queues of frustrated passengers at St Pancras waiting for the Eurostar, being fed by the Salvation Army..........and I can drive 840 miles to the Italian border in the Alps, seven up and towing a trailer with my D3, through all the snow...non stop.....and thats where i am now, in a sleepy farming village high up in the Alps.... Even the gritter and snow plough reaches us. D3 Buckingham Blue SE Auto

I will tell you how come. Its because you have realised that if you want to go anywhere without being treated like a piece of meat on the butchers shop floor, like all the people in terminals,stations etc are being treated then you have to put the safty, care and comfort of your self and family first and go independent. This is what we do every year going to the alpes in style and comfort of a d3. Love many, Trust few, always paddle your own cannoe. D3 bonatti grey

Why is it that when snow hits London and the Deepest Darkest South i.e. owt past Watford Gap that the whole country is perceived to have come to a stand still. The snow and cold is no longer weather its news! It has never really gone away in the North East since late November FFS!  Club N.E.R.D.s
