Its was me, I told em to stuff it and did it myself, took all of 5 mins per corner
On another note, looking at the pics of the new 07 dash display, I see there is now a 'lights on' indicator. I was thinking how much this is needed as you can't tell in daylight without craning your neck to look at the position of the rotary switch.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I have my own version. Lights on auto & indicator stalk forward. Then gives me a nice blue light on dash when lights are on!

Adding the TV tuner ought to be pretty straightforward. The antenna are already in place; the module needs power and a MOST connection - both of which should be simple - the complication may be the coax connection to the touch screen. Probably need to dismantle the RH rear side panel and take a look insider......
The clock is a software update only - whether it is made available or not is probably more a marketing issue.

Is this because the new TV does digital and analogue? I'll have a look at the new drawings when I get to work tomorrow.Disco 5 HSE Lux

Possibly that the introduction of the module showed the existing antenna needed supplementing to get a satisfactory picture? After all, digital telly comes via yer regular rooftop thingy, so it shouldn't be a Freeview thing.

I don't know. Perhaps a Hybrid system was always on the cards?
There are a lot of companies who are offering a TV link into system along with linking a DVD input to the screen as well. That might work out cheaper than the Land Rover system. Dealer fit things always seem to be more expensive than factory things. They tried to sell me a Tow bar holder on my old car for £81. The new one has a factory fit tow bar systen along with the holder. It's a bit of polystyrene work 81 pence not £81!

I'm having an Alpine rear DVD system fitted and this will have it's own alpine Hybrid TV and the DVD's can be watched through the front screen so I am told.
The LR Hybrid TV is linked into the radio and you have the word TV come up on the radio display.
Been out and had a look at the two Disco's side by side. The 07 had two extra lines etched onto the window and a connector at the top. The other lines are the same.
