Clonking Noise ?
Recently heard a clonking noise from the rear of the car, sounds very hollow. Got under the car and found a swinging weight either side of the spare wheel - when pushed back it hits the chassis or something and makes that noise. How can it be stopped? Any

I'm pretty sure it will hit the chassis if you push the damper far enough back, so I reckon that's normal...

Its a bit annoying to here it every time you go over a pot hole though, it didnt do it when I first got the car! I certainly dont want too hear it for the next few years. Wondering why its started now?

Sorry, also wanted to see if any of you experienced guys could tell me exactly what it is before I go to my dealer looking and sounding dumb I got it with a years warranty so all well it should be covered.

Most likely to be rear anti-roll bar bushes. No need for packers anymore, there is now a modified bush available.

Mine's booked in for this under warranty. So should I be expecting new bushes fitted not just the spacers?

positive for anti roll bar upgrade them weights are not the reason

We just fit new bushes at work.

Well you were right! Its the anti roll bar bushes, booked in for Friday under warranty. Many thanks for your - wouldnt of had a clue myself. Cheers
