Clunking(?) When You take Foot Of Accelerator? |
|
During a long drive down to the Alps the other week the wife complained that anytime I took my foot of the accelerator (rarely ) there would be a kind of clunking sound. Hard to describe and the car will be going down to TLO shortly for its 60k service so will mention then but thought is it due to being automatic and the ways the gears work?

Try in drive then reverse. do you feel movement. Could be the lower control arm bushes, mine is doing this I think that what it is but waiting to hear back from the dealer. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
