I have the same now, and have had for quite a while, but clutch never slips even trying (unsuccessfully Whistle ) to get out of muddy holes, I am at around 70K miles now. It is only when in neutral and the clutch is mid position, if you put it fully in then it goes away and also if it is in gear it is ok.

Over this time it has never got any worse so I have left it, I was quoted by my dealer £300 to look at it (ie take the gearbox apart) plus whatever else it needs, plus probably changing the clutch whilst its out, plus possibly a flywheel so realistically its going to be somewhere around (over Big Cry ) a grand.

Think I am going to wait for any sign of it getting worse before I take a trip in.
