Co ordinates
Help! I'm going to Southern Ireland tomorrow and can't enter the co ordinates into my sat nav (2014 reg).
The co ordinates are 51.94765 -8.54696.
Can anybody tell me how to input them please?
Thanks, Graham2015 Fuji White discovery 4 Commercial

You need to input the full coordinates in the format Degrees, Hours, Minutes putting in latitude before longitude. Don't think the format you have will work, at least it didn't when I tried it on mine.
Owners Manual not particularly helpful but this is what it says:
COORDINATES
From the navigation menu, select Destination entry. Select More... and then Coordinates.
If you know the coordinates of your destination they can be entered from this screen. The full
latitude must be entered first before the longitude coordinates can be entered.
When the coordinates have been entered, touch OK.
If the coordinates entered are not contained within the area covered by the available maps,
a message will be shown. This can also occur if the incorrect coordinates have been entered.

You don't need to go to Off Road Navigation to enter co-ordinates - the facility is on the second page of the Enter Destination options.
I've managed to convert your coordinates to a format the Sat Nav should accept.
Try inputting this into the SatNav. 51°56'51.5"N 8°32'49.1"W

Wouldn't using the Townland name have been easier in the Republic?

Wouldn't worry about decimals of seconds. One second of lat or long is approx 100ft in round numbers, but does vary slightly with long and hugely with latitude.D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny
