| Cold Coolant Hoses to Heater |

AJV8 4.4L, 2005 Discovery 3 - why would the two coolant hoses that run to the heater say cool when all other hoses get hot?
Needless to say, the heater doesn't work.
Does the thermostat control a bypass to the heater?

AFAIK, there's the water pump for the whole system, not a separate one for the heater.

You have a blockage - possibly in radiator core as the water is not circulating
