I read this thread over a year ago and couldn't get my wing mirrors to fold in. Read the manual but just figured my D3 didn't have the powered mirrors installed.
So, just reread the thread - carefully this time - and went out to my car to try again.
Selected the mid position for the mirror selector. Pushed the button in first and then, still holding it in, pushed it down to the six o'clock position.
Mirrors folded in beautifully.

I have an 05 HSE and have tried every combination I can think of with the switch aside from breaking it off. I must not have mirrors that fold 16 D4 Landmark

Hi
Finally had opportunity to try this today, and it worked brilliant. Bit of a faff holding switch in and pulling down at the same time whilst in the central dot position, but it works
Has been bugging me as well until I found this thread and only owned the disco a week
Andy 2005 Discovery 3 HSE TDV6 diesel
2007 Mercedes E280 v6 diesel
Can you sense a theme here?
Mind you the 2.25 Petrol Series II with Series III wings for quad headlights, high power alternator conversion and a few other bits and bobs does rather break the theme
