Went and collected my 08 D3 XS this morning from Lookers Bishops Stortford. Dropped off my Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRTDi which I bought for my 60th birthday in October. Sorry to say the Santa does not do a good job of towing my caravan, its primary requirement. Lot of car for the money and the 1st and last car bought new. I have no doubt the disco will far exceed my expectations. So far I am impressed with its ability to traverse the numerous potholes without loosening my remaining teeth.
I am looking forward to participating in the forum, seeking advice as and when needed and hopefully as my LR ownership proceeds offering advice to new members in return.
I have one small glitch which I never noticed when checking the D3 out. The drivers power fold mirror doesn't fold, passenger side is ok. Is there a simple fix or is it a dealer warranty claim?Run silent, run deep!! HM Submarines Conqueror, Churchill, Renown, Ocelot, Porpoise, Onslaught.

Hi all I to picked up my 06 Disco 3 tdv6 se and yes I am still grinning. Big difference to my 04 Disco Pursuit that I traded in. Mind I am a bit concerned about all the probs I have read about on the forum, just hope mine is reliable!!
