How about Tonga/Alpaca? Went for it in my order after seeing one at the dealers.

Quite elegant and yet maintains the off-road attitude.

Well, I am biased - but yes, Bonatti/Privacy does look good - and I've got Alpaca for the interior too... looks very smart -

The whole combination looks great even when filthy as it is now...!

United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

Well I spent a great deal of time pondering over the colour swatches. My last Disco was Epsom Green but as much as I liked the colour I wanted a change. My previous Disco was Bonatti grey and over time that became a bit mundane, so that was out. In the end I opted for Zermatt silver, a great choice and I love it. It does not show the dirt either but that may have something to do with the fact that I clean it almost daily. Well it is new.

Seriously though; the lighter colours contrast well with the black plastic bits including the side protection strips but the darker colours contrast well with the lighter leather interiors, especially Alpaca. But the choice has to be yours.

Hi TonyH,
if you don't mind could you post a few pictures of your Zermatt Silver D3 in your gallery? I know there is not much difference between the Zambezi Silver & the Zermatt but since we have got a Zermatt Silver ordered that will not arrive till May it would be nice to take a look Smile Thanks.....

United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

Hello Husky, congratulations in choosing a great 4x4, I have always been a LR fan and the D3 is the best yet.

I have inspected the two silver colours, Zermatt having now replaced Zambezi, I can see no noticeable difference, although some say that Zermatt is very slightly darker in shade. However, looking at the colour swatches side by side, I cannot make this out.

The Zermatt is normally supplied with a Ebony interior and this contrast looks good. I was considering an Alpaca interior, looks good in leather but not that attractive in cloth. I was advised against this by the dealer who said that the inside and outside should contrast and after consideration I think he was right, so I stuck with Ebony.

I will email you direct with some images because I am having problems with creating my gallery, something about the size of the files. If you have not profiled your email address, please send it to me, my email address should be available from my profile.

I have just seen one in the showroom in Lugano Teal, a very deep looking colour, looks good in the sunlight.
