Commercial rear windows

I have just purchased a Disco 3 commercial 2007 and very happy with it, the rear windows have a plastic cover that I can remove, however I have been wondering how I can get the rear windows to operate just to give my dogs some air!, if anyone can advise I would appreciate this. Apologies if this has been answered before on the forum.

Many thanks

Matt

Welcome Thumbs Up

If you remove the door card, few screws that are obvious and ones under the door handle and the connector should be just out of its socket. Just push it home til it clicks and you should be right. Thats how it went on mine anyway so hopefully you'll be right.

Unfortunatly LR are now ripping the electric socket out of the window motor ... Sad

So you are going to need new motors ( the car wiring harness is still intact )

Mines a 57 and there are no motors in there, they replace the motor with cast piece that locks the mechanism up. Just remove this piece and fit motors Thumbs Up

Mine is a 57 and I have done this. The motor wire had been pulled out and a lump of mastic stuck in there, removed this. The worse problem was the window was stuck to the door trim and took a bit of help to get it to move. A couple of hours in total
