I have the dreaded C1A13-64 fault code come up.
Is there a cut off point, IE from certain chassis number onewards where you can tell which make of compressor is fitted?
We have two D3’s both 2009 my, i wondered whether to get a new Comp and overhaul mine as a spare for both if they are interchangeable?

I have a 59 plate D3, had a new compressor fitted yesterday. The fault on mine related to the compressor being too slow on first start, so it timed out, bringing up the fault.
My compressor was an Hitachi, so straight swap including relay.
I did ask about an upgrade, but was told that would require software upgrade. Mine was done under warranty, they would only pay for basic swap. Hope that helps.
Ido have the o,d one, are they difficult to repair ? 1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch
