Compressor leak around the Red hose |
|
I have the common fault of amber suspension warning light coming on about 2 minutes after the compressor first starts up and then restricting me to normal height only. However on inspection I am pretty sure there is air leaking from the compressor around the part where the pipe with the red collar emerges which I understand to be the dryer.
Is that air leakage normal (i.e. some kind of overflow release ) or is this my problem ?
If it is the problem can it be refitted or sealed or is it a whole new compressor ?
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
I had a similar problem a while back - got a new dryer unit and it was fine.
Then the Compressor itself went so I had a whole new unit.
anyway I have the dryer unit still attached to the knackered compressor.
Make me an offer and for £10.00 delivery I can ship you the whole unit and you can have the dryer off it.
Its only about 1 year old.
