Opposite Lock Bullbar

Not happy Jan.....

Recently had an OL Bullbar put on my D4 - absolutely great bullbar Thumbs Up Thumbs Up but was not too happy with the OL fitting agent. They cut the two front wheel arch fairings at different heights on the two sides - not an absolute train smash but enough to irritate me every time I look at it.

Recently the Bullbar indicators have stopped working - admitedly after I worked on the electrics installing an onboard compressor. I am a sparky so know what I am doing even so it’s coincidental and most probably my mistake and not warranty.

The agent did not give me a copy of the wiring diargram - looking inside the bar I found a fuse tucked into the Bullbar wiring harness (real hard to get too Big Cry ). No idea what it’s for but it’s checks out OK so I contacted OL asking for a copy of the wiring diagram.

Despite repeated requests they will not give it to me and say I must take the vehicle to one of their dealers??

Uhm hello - who’s the Censored customer here mate!!

Wonder if ARB give the same Censored attitude - doubt it.

You might want to post this up on AULRO as well. Not sure how many people in Europe would have Opposite Lock bars on their cars.

The OL installation instructions only say how to fit the bar, not how to wire up the lights. So the fitter would have gone freestyle, so anything could have been done...

Instructions here https://m.box.com/shared_item/https%3A%2F%...gzt0o5p2wh

EDIT Just seen yours is a MY15, not sure if the OL bar is different for the MY14 onwards facelift models (Like the ARB one is).
