I’ve mentioned on here before about a fault on my new to me D4.
I have taken the vehicle to an independent specialist to diagnose the fault who have decided that the problem is a split pipe down by the turbo. He showed me the said pipe on an engine which was out of a vehicle and is close(ish) to the manifold / turbo, the pipe itself being about 50 quid.
It’s covered by a warranty but I asked out of interest how much it would cost to take the body off and change the pipe and he reckoned about £1000? Does that sound about right?!
I have heard that it’s possible to change the turbos on a D4 without taking the body off, is that the case? I’m finding the Defender to Disco difficult!
