You may want to read my previous post on this, but that price sounds like it includes the 'optional' expensive oil.
I now ask them to use the same oil that is sold in their parts dept at 1/2 the price, and which specifies that it is for the TDV6, and has a Land Rover badge on it.
The lad in parts let it slip that it was the same stuff. When I challenged them having paid £84 for oil in the 15k service, they told me it was my choice, and it would be perfectly suitable for the car. They put in the branded (Castrol or Mobil I think) oil, and charge a hefty premium on it.
My view is that my car has a 3 year warranty, its on a 3 year lease, I pay for the servicing, I am using Land Rover branded oil, which is specific for the TDV6, if the engine blows up, then Land Rover have a problem.
